STAR GARDENER CRITERIA

The STAR GARDENER competition takes place every month and the lucky gardener will be rewarded for his/her effort.  

The criteria are as follows: 

  •  1.  Cleanliness of the plot/s. There should be no dried leaves, plant remains, spoiled or damaged vegetables/fruits in your plot/s.  
  • 2.  Area around the plot must be well groomed and free of debris/ dirt etc. 
  •  3.  Plants should be arranged in sequence and with a proper layout.  
  • 4.  Care of the plants  - Watering, fertilizing and pest management will be prioritize. 
  •  5.  Plant health - Plants must be vibrant/ robust.

WELCOME!

We are very excited to celebrate our June 2022 Star Gardener JANETTA ROBERTS! Ms. Roberts has been an avid gardener for many years and was our first recipient of this award in the year 2021.


She plants different varieties of vegetables, including beans, tomatoes, etc., and inspires other gardeners with her care of her sequencing, water, fertilizing, etc..


Her plots are decorated providing a biological control against insect pests.  


We congratulate her on winning in 2021 and in 2022!  Keep on gardening Janetta!  You are a true inspiration to us all!
